RIFA 2018 New Hires
Join us in congratulating new hires
Hannah Robinson – Community Outreach Coordinator
We are thankful to announce Hannah Robinson as the new Community Outreach Coordinator. Two years ago, Robinson was competing as a team leader for our annual RIFA Canstruction. Robinson stated, “I had no idea while making a bridge out of canned spaghetti sauce that I’d one day be working for RIFA.”
Robinson is a wife and has been married for 24 years, a mother of three and a graduate of UT Martin Jackson. She has a heart to serve seniors and children. Since her September hiring date, Robinson has learned so much about RIFA and the community RIFA serves. “We don’t just give food,” she explained, “we give hope.”
Dawn Carlton – Online Marketing Coordinator
We are excited and blessed to have Dawn Measley Carlton on board as the RIFA Thrift Store Online Marketing Coordinator. Carlton’s skill in marketing and vintage retail has truly been an asset to the RIFA mission since her hiring date earlier this year. Each week, she works tirelessly to prepare auctions for the RIFA Auction Group. Carlton is a wife, mother of two and the co-owner of FERN & IVY.
“My prayer a year ago was to have an opportunity to serve.” She said. “I have always wanted to give back but didn’t have the means to do so as much as I would like. I am so thankful that God provided a way for me to give to those in need through my employment at RIFA.”
Thank you Dawn for your commitment to fighting hunger in #JacksonTN and using your skills and talents to support the RIFA mission.
Brandi Martin – Warehouse Associate
We are elated to announce Brandi Martin as the new Warehouse Associate. Martin works with Warehouse Manager Thomas Brown to process donations from community members, assist RIFA Thrift Store Staff and maintain the warehouse.
“She is extremely polite, energetic and self-motivated.” Thomas, Warehouse Manager stated.”

“I want to share the love of Christ with the world and what better place to start than my community.” She stated. “My desire is to help people reach their physical and spiritual needs.”
