Meet Shaka Smith, RIFA Thrift Store’s Assistant Manager! Shaka joined the staff in May 2023. She is always on the move in the store or the warehouse, making sure things run efficiently and that customers have a great selection of items to choose from. Her favorite part about working at RIFA is the people she gets to interact with. She said, "being able to stop and pray for individuals is amazing. I've gotten to know many of the patrons coming into the Thrift Store and they have blessed me and given me words of encouragement on days I needed it! I see being at RIFA not just as a job, but as my mission and purpose. I also enjoy my coworkers, they definitely make my day!"

- She loves to travel and hopes to someday travel to Jerusalem to see Biblical places

- She loves driving around Jackson and finding little hidden restaurants to eat at with her family
