Staff Highlight - Tracie Barnard

Meet Tracie Barnard, RIFA’s Volunteer Coordinator! Tracie joined the staff in October of 2022, but began at RIFA as a volunteer in 2010. Tracie's role as Volunteer Coordinator involves bringing volunteers into the building, helping them determine what area to serve in, and ensuring that they have a safe, productive, and enjoyable time at RIFA. Volunteers are essential to RIFA's success. In 2024, volunteers provided 27,151 hours of work; that's equal to having an additional 13 full time employees! Tracie stays busy by scheduling, meeting with, and building relationships with  these wonderful volunteers. Her favorite part about working at RIFA is "playing a part in bringing people together–from a variety of backgrounds, life experiences, and perspectives–to do this good work of fighting hunger in our community. What a beautiful mosaic!"
