RIFA is thrilled to partner with USPS and the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) again in 2026 to contribute to their annual food drive, Stamp Out Hunger. Since 1993, this national event has fed millions of Americans each year.
It's simple to participate in the nation's largest one-day food drive! On Saturday, May 9, leave a sturdy bag of non-perishable food by your mailbox, and Jackson letter carriers will collect your donations as they deliver mail that day. All donations are tax-deductible.
Examples of non-perishable food to donate:
- Canned soup
- Canned vegetables/fruits
- Canned meat
- Pasta
- Rice
- Cereal
